Bio

As Northaven Church’s first Scholar-in-Residence, Kendra’s expertise includes spirituality, feminism and religion, biblical and/or theological reflections, intersections of Christianity and culture, and Interfaith trends. She has significant teaching experience as a tenured professor of Religion at Texas Wesleyan University, a tenured associate professor of Religion at George Fox University, and an adjunct professor of Religion at Texas Christian University. Her work entails building bridges across various branches of Christianity.
